GOD WILL STRENGTHEN ME AND UPHOLD ME WITH POWER
Biblical Context
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God who strengthens you; I will always help you, I will always uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10
This verse is found in the book of Isaiah, a prophet who lived in ancient Israel. In this particular chapter, Isaiah is prophesying about the future of Israel and offering words of encouragement and hope to God's people at a time of great difficulty and confusion.
Fear not, for I am with you:
God assures His people (children) that they have nothing to fear because He is always with them. This divine presence offers comfort and security in the midst of any circumstance.
Do not faint, for I am your God who strengthens you:
This refers to any need we may have, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. It invites us to trust in God, not to fear and to find strength in his presence.
I will always help you, I will always uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness:
God is committed to providing constant help and support to those who trust in Him. The “right hand of his righteousness” refers to God's power to protect and defend his people.
