The peace of GOD

John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Biblical Context
This verse is found in the context of Jesus' last supper with his disciples before his crucifixion. Jesus is trying to comfort his disciples, who are worried and saddened by his departure. He promises them that he will not leave them orphans, but will send them the Holy Spirit, who will give them peace and comfort.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you.”
Jesus promises his disciples a kind of peace that is different from the peace the world can offer. Jesus' peace is a divine gift that comes from his relationship with the Father and is based on trust and faith in him.

“I do not give it to you as the world gives it":
The peace of the world is superficial and temporary, based on favorable external circumstances. The peace of Jesus, on the other hand, is deep and lasting, and can sustain us even in the midst of tribulation.

“Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Jesus encourages his disciples not to let their hearts be filled with anxiety and fear. The peace he gives can help us overcome fear and worry.
