Wisdom of GOD

James 1:5-6
“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God for it, and he will give it to you; he will not rebuke you for asking. When you ask him for it, make sure that your faith is in God alone, and do not doubt, for a person who doubts has divided loyalties and is as unstable as a wave of the sea that the wind sweeps and pushes from side to side.”

Biblical Context
The book of James is one of the New Testament letters in the Bible. It is written by James, the half-brother of Jesus, and is addressed to “the twelve tribes that are scattered throughout the world” (James 1:1). The book addresses topics such as faith, trials, temptation, wisdom, wealth and poverty, and the importance of good works.

The need for wisdom:
James recognizes that we all need wisdom, whether to make important decisions, solve problems, or simply to live a fuller life.

God as the source of wisdom:
The verse affirms that true wisdom comes from God, and that He is willing to give it to all those who ask Him for it.

The importance of faith:
To receive God's wisdom, it is necessary to ask for it with faith, without doubting. Doubt is like a wave that carries us from one side to the other, preventing us from receiving what God wants to give us.
