GOD'S PLANS FOR ME ARE FOR MY WELL BEING
Biblical Context
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, ”plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Jeremiah was a prophet who lived in a time of great difficulty for the people of Israel. They had been exiled to Babylon and felt hopeless and lost. In this context, God, through Jeremiah, sends them a message of hope and encouragement.
Welfare plans:
God does not wish evil for us, but quite the opposite. His plans are for our good, to give us a full and satisfying life.
Future and hope:
Despite difficult circumstances, God promises us a future full of hope. He has a purpose for our lives and wants us to trust in Him.
Jeremiah 29:11
